  • The Honest Taxpayer's Feast

Chef Annie's As a famous chef, Annie is an Expatriate who runs a successful restaurant known as Annie’s Kitchen in Nigeria. She has a great business, but she always avoided dealing with taxes. For months, she ignored letters from the Tax Office, thinking she would handle them later. However, one morning, she received a final notice warning her that if she didn’t act fast, she could face penalties—or even have her restaurant shut down. Panicked, Annie rushed to the Tax Office, where she met Mr. Okafor, a strict but helpful tax officer. He explained that she hadn’t filed her taxes in months and that ignoring them could put her business at risk. Seeing how overwhelmed she was, he offered to guide her through the process. Over the next few days, Annie learned about income tax, VAT, and business deductions. She realized that taxes weren’t just about paying money—they also helped her track profits, qualify for loans, and avoid legal trouble. With Mr. Okafor’s help, she settled her tax debts and even found out she was eligible for a small refund! Her taxes paid, will also go a long way to help provide infrastructures such as the Public schools, Hospitals and Roads etc. On the day she finally filed everything properly, Annie felt relieved. She had saved her business and learned an important lesson: running a restaurant wasn’t just about cooking—it was about taking responsibilities too. That evening, she celebrated by creating a special new dish, “The Honest Taxpayer’s Feast,” to remind herself (and her customers) that being financially responsible is just as rewarding as making great food.

  • The Mysterious Island

Miss Remmie's Adeventure Miss Remmie’s friend, Ann, a history teacher, told her about a mysterious island that did not appear on modern maps. According to old texts, the island had once been a hub for explorers who had left behind artifacts and clues. Curious, Miss Remmie organized a school break expedition with her students, turning it into a hands-on learning adventure. They set off on a shaky fishing boat, guided by a local fisherman. Calm waters quickly turned into a dangerous storm, but Miss Remmie’s quick thinking got everyone safely to the island. Onshore, they found jungles, ancient ruins, and strange symbols on rocks. Miss Remmie split the students into teams to document their findings and solve the puzzles. They uncovered clues, including an old compass that led to hidden treasures. The adventure was not easy. They faced quicksand, shaky rope bridges, and a riddle-locked cave. With Miss Remmie’s guidance, the students worked together to solve problems and keep moving forward. Finally, they discovered a hidden lagoon and a chest filled with explorer artifacts, including a scroll with inspiring stories of resilience and discovery. Miss Remmie planned to share these stories in her lessons. The group returned tired but thrilled, knowing they had solved a mystery and created lasting memories. The adventure became a lesson in courage, teamwork, and learning outside the classroom.
